Winter visitor

We don't get many birds in our garden but this one was brave enough to have a look around. I'm not sure about the name but I think it's a Fieldfare.

August walk

Already a month ago when I did this walk, the heather was still in bloom, on my way I almost stepped on this little bird, I didn't see a nest or parent birds, I put him in a safer place just beside the path, maybe it was not the right thing to do but I was afraid someone else might not see him.

"Birds"

Early in the morning looking over my fence this is what I saw. It is almost like Alfred Hitchcock's movie. Click the icon and see all other Camera Critters.

Take off

This Pheasant landed in our small garden, after an inspection of our living room and kitchen she went back outside but the hedge and fence seemed to high for a good "take off". It took at least one our before she finally gave it a try and succeeded. Click the icon for more fantastic Camera Critters.

Pheasant

I think it's time for a bird. This is what I found in my archive, a photo of a Pheasant in a harvested cornfield.

"Oh, what a wonderful World"

Last Saturday I spotted these swans, a bit late in the season for the little ones. Behind the left swan there are two more of them. I hope they are strong enough when winter starts. Click on the image for a better view.

Kauw

This is one of the birds (I think the english name is Jackdaw) not a beauty but very intelligent. Once I had a tame Jackdaw, I took it out of a rabbithole and raised him. He understood several commands and was always with me. Unfortunately he liked people's eyes and that was sometimes annoying. Hmmmm........I hope this english creation is understandable.

Birds

During the summer months these group of birds flew over every morning and back in the evening making a lot of noise. In the next post a better view of a Kauw (Corvus monedula).
