"Birds"

Early in the morning looking over my fence this is what I saw. It is almost like Alfred Hitchcock's movie. Click the icon and see all other Camera Critters.

Hitchcock was exactly what I thought when I opened your blog!
So ominous! I hated that movie. :)

Have to say this was a great capture though - glad you shared it in black and white -perfect.

Yup ... definitely a Hitchcock moment! Very weird … reminds me of something that happened to me a while back that I shared at Small Reflections here.

Wow! Having it in black and white increases the Hitchcockian effect.

Yes, it does look odd. Must be some heat or something coming up to keep them all perched like that. Nice shot.

I will put the Ohio Deer hunting story on my blog in the morning.

Are you sure you haven't put glue to the rooftiles? Or are the birds coming especially for you?

It *is* a rather Hitchcockian shot. Reminds me of visiting a lighthouse in Washington state that had gulls lined up like that. I felt as though I were walking through the schoolyard in "The Birds".

Wonderful shot. I'm still giggling. I guess that's what birds do when they don't have trees? I'm waiting for corn harvesting season here. That's when the bird flocks grow to thousands and fly in "schools" from tree to tree by the corn fields.
