Spinnetje

Het is weer volop spinnenseizoen en deze foto gemaakt met een macro-convertor is een van de gelukte opnamen. Dit spinnetje is kleiner dan 10mm.

I used a macro-convertor for this photo. The size of the spider is less than 10mm.

It's an awesome photo -- incredible detail -- but now I'm going to have nightmares. Still not used to the number of spiders here.

Eeeeeeekkkkkkkkk! Look at all those horrible little hairy legs. Dick that is a great picture of a horrible looking spider! Yes, it would be better to have a dragonfly. Black widows are common around here but I don't see them often.

Super, Je moet even wennen, maar de converter werkt toch wel fantastisch, getuige deze fraaie foto.

WoW...this is a wonderfully captured shot with lovely colours. This one is really scary & I must admit, I am scared of spiders and stay long away from them.

That is what we call a Barn Spider over here, Dick. I guess it is because they used to be found in old barns more than anywhere else.

Your macro is very nice and was it made with a screw on piece like 2x or 4x?

Nice.

Lovely Dick, just too good

(Abe) We call them cross-spiders because of the cross on their back. I used a Canon A710 IS with a Canon 250D close-up lens. Maybe convertor is not exactly the good word.

You have really inspired me, Dick! I have extension tubes for my camera but haven't used them yet (my SLR camera is still new). If I can come up with something like this some day, you'll be the first to know! :)

I also love your Blogspot template. I may want to imitate yours for my other blog. As they say, "imitation is the best form of flattery!" :)
