Butterfly Garden

We visited a butterfly garden and it was a perfect place for trying out my close-up converter. I took a lot of pictures but these are the best. The auto focus is the problem but manual is difficult also.

Summer break

I'm offline for a few weeks because of the summer holiday. I have internet on my cell phone for email and such things but not for blogging, to complicated without a normal keyboard and a data limit. Look at the picture carefully and maybe you can figure out which direction we will go for our vacation and the reason why it is that direction. Ok, why not......the first person who gives the right answers in the comment box gets a nice postcard when we are back. The rules: only your first comment counts and people living in The Netherlands are excluded.

Hmmm.....June's answer is the first and ok but Dot's answer is more complete. The best thing to do is make it two postcards. Of course it was the ferry to get off the island by car but we do have an airfield, that was a possibility too. We went to the provincie (county?) Drenthe in the Netherlands. Take off

This Pheasant landed in our small garden, after an inspection of our living room and kitchen she went back outside but the hedge and fence seemed to high for a good "take off". It took at least one our before she finally gave it a try and succeeded. Click the icon for more fantastic Camera Critters.
