I think it's time to do a give away. What you see are all minatures of the real things. A mini bottle of liquor (product of Texel), a sheep key hanger, sheep milk soap (made out of Texel sheep milk) and a pair of wooden shoes (to small for your feet).
Do you like it? You only have to sign-in in the comment box by saying "I'm in" or something like that. The first one who signs in has number 1, the second number 2 and so on. Only one sign-in each person ( don't try to be smart, lol ).
Friday May 1, 20.00 hour Dutch time the sign-in is closed. I will use a random number generator to pick a winner. Friday May 1, 22.00 hour Dutch time I will announce the name of the winner.

Another road to go

Dear friends, maybe you've red it between the lines in my previous post but this is the moment of truth. I stop blogging for unknown time, for some reason I have become blogging-tired and my inspiration is not as it should be. I need time to put things where they belong and maybe sooner or later the road leads me back here. I'm not gone off the internet so you can expect me to visit sometimes. Wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a great and wonderful NEW YEAR.

Sharing Warmth

Summer break

I'm offline for a few weeks because of the summer holiday. I have internet on my cell phone for email and such things but not for blogging, to complicated without a normal keyboard and a data limit. Look at the picture carefully and maybe you can figure out which direction we will go for our vacation and the reason why it is that direction. Ok, why not......the first person who gives the right answers in the comment box gets a nice postcard when we are back. The rules: only your first comment counts and people living in The Netherlands are excluded.

Hmmm.....June's answer is the first and ok but Dot's answer is more complete. The best thing to do is make it two postcards. Of course it was the ferry to get off the island by car but we do have an airfield, that was a possibility too. We went to the provincie (county?) Drenthe in the Netherlands. June and Dot mail your address to eyeon@texel.com and I will send the postcards as soon as possible. Thank you all for your comments.
