Ja hoor, je hebt gelijk het is een kramsvogel. Deze vogels komen van de Oostelijke en Noordelijke gebieden in grote groepen momenteel naar ons land o.a. omdat het hier "warmer "voor ze is. Ze trekken door tot Belgie en tot het noorden van Frankrijk. Mooie foto's. Heb ze zelf ook in de tuin, soms wel 10 tegelijk. Groeten, Alie

Wat een grappige vogel, ik lees hierboven dat de nederlandse naam kramsvogel is, maar ik had er nog nooit van gehoord en ik geloof ook niet dat ik er wel eens een gezien had!

I like this bird. From the front, and if his feathers were more black, he cold pass as a Starling over here. But I don't think it is.
I had a good time today watching and taking pictures of the resident Sharp-shinned hawk learning how to hunt. It is not easy for these young birds to find meals and they miss a few until they get the grab down pat.
He is less than 6 inches wide. And about 10 inches tall not counting the tail. A small bird but a great one.
