So beautiful and calm. I love places like this, with sea birds and water.
Shalom to you and your birds.

hello dick

Ben je ook weer eens op skil geweest
mooie foto hoor.
Ik maak er ook regelmatig even wat foto's.
Maak je niet vaak mee dat er 5 meeuwen naast elkaar zitten.

Very cool, now if only you can get them all facing the same direction - hehe. Really cool. I like it a lot.

What a fun shot! For a minute, I thought these were ‘wooden birds’ … then I noticed them all facing different directions. Thanks for sharing. Mine’s at Small Reflections today.
Hugs and blessings,

Dick: What a special capture with the posing Seagulls.

Who's the girl in the background?
The sign in the foreground attracks my attention. Together with the seagulls it works.

How fun ... all the gulls sitting a row. Were they waiting for the fishing boats to come in? It looks like a perfect spot to be!

hehe What a great photo! I love that you took the time to notice the birds and take a picture of them on their posts. Very cool. Makes me wish I was near water...and I just got home from swimming with my boys for three hours. What's wrong with me?!

Mooie zeemeeuwen! Texel zonder deze vogelszou Texel niet zijn.

Beautiful seagulls! Texel without these birds wouldn't be Texel.

This is a one of a kind photo that really is sharp as a tack. I like the gulls lined up on the poles and the person with the point and shoot camera trying to get the photo of the gull. You do nice work, Dick.

And thanks for your visit to my blog this morning and for the comments there.

Typical for Texel and Holland so nice this Meeuw. This nose to the left means: "good weather coming?"

Wishing you a good weekend

Great capture. I love to watch these birds on the beach.

I wonder if each gull has its own favourite pole to which they return.

To answer your question you left me: Dot's DSL box got struck by lightning Sunday night a week ago. They sent her another one. It did not work. She called then back so they sent her another one. It did not work so when she called them again they said this time they would send her a new one. Strange huh? Wonder why they were not sending her new ones to begin with? Hopefully she will get it fixed and be back into blogging real soon.

Dick said...

Oh, thank you Andrea, I was worried about her, maybe her computer is damaged too and the DSL box is Oke!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely shot Dick. Thank you for your e-mail which I received very late. I hope that you received my return. I corrected the e-mail address on my profile.

Thank you Dick, yes MD will continue without Paul but we will miss him very much.

I really like this shot. So many interesting things there. I'm sitting here thinking "Yes the birds are real" "No they aren't real". "Yes they are". lol.

What lovely finials gulls make! They should be required on the top of every telephone pole. Great shot. Did you put each gull in place by hand?

Very nice of those gulls to pose for you :-) Nice one! Thanks for stopping by Spatter...
