(Neva) Dike guards (500 were mobilized) give alarm as soon the situation becomes critical. The smallest leak is in no time a very large leak, prevention is the best thing to do. There were no problems now. See also the story of "Hans Brinker". http://www.thehollandring.com/hans-brinker-story.shtml

I was wondering if the stories are true about the little leaks and I see that they are....thanks for answering!....glad things are good now....All of my flowers-except a pot of geraniums I brought in-are gone...the iris looks lovely here.

Nice picture! Those dikes really worry me so I'm glad we don't have to think about them here. Of course there are other things just as bad.
