Urban Exploration #1 Object #1

This week we spent in Limburg at my daughters place. One of the things we did was "Urban Exploration". Do you know what that is? If not you better click the link and read the WiKi page.
The picture on top shows the first target, it was not so difficult to find an opening in the fence we only had to wait no one was watching us. Let's go!!!!!!!!!!!!

Entering the building.

Me taking a picture, the red light is from my camera but you photographers do know that of course.

This is one of a few things left in the kitchen.

The floor, not safe enough to go upstairs so we didn't.
Would you like to see more?

Pretty disturbing to look at actually...but good for us to see.

I found it interesting that the same kind of hose was once used on the dryer in the kitchen that is used over here still, today.

I like old places like this. Lots of history in them.

I found the pictures really interesting so continue on...you take the chances and I'll enjoy the pictures! Sometimes I'm afraid I'll get arrested just taking pictures when I drive by someone's house.

Was the building just a single family residence? Why was it abandoned. Very interesting. I'd love to see more.

Leuke serie foto's. Ik hoop niet dat dit bij Astrid in huis is, anders heb je nog veel te doen, de komende tijd.
Ik wil nog wel meer zien, van dit soort foto's.

Urban spelunking lol....
Good to see you on mine, Dick - these are brilliant. Love old barns, but you're right - the floors can be a hazard for the unwary.

I was here before but I couldn't comment!

I am glad that is not my house, although to be honest my veranda is worse. And at least the building in your pictures has its walls still standing, only the roof is rotten. My verandah was made with wooden supports and has a concrete top, ... can you imagine..?!!!

Cool and interesting pictures. I LOVE URBAN EXPLORATION and Detroit is famous for it. Many ruins here.

I enjoyed these.

Hallo Dick:)
I wanted to leave my stormy CrossRoads and jump into other peaceful places, lol:)
This article;
smells history..
gives us hint about unfinished emotions..
and tells us stay stronger to be the best against time.

Very interesting this concept of an article! I love walk, and hike, and explore, visiting if I can and photographing, abandoned buildings like too old cars.

Now let me pass over the second.

You naughty Dick. I don't think you had permission to take photos. But that's just the fun of Urbex(?) isn't it? Very nice pictures Dick. Soon we'll do this together.
