that is a fascinating pic because it is difficult to get a sense of scale, so you can imagine them being really little or huge, depending on your mood. Wonder what they are. good shot!

I think they are some sort of moth, size around 10mm. I have never seen them on Texel this is in Belgium.
I thought they were bats at first. A great capture of the insects and such an appropriate title.
