Oh this is funny, just the other day on tv they were talking about someone putting up a blog about finding shoes and gloves. And here you are with a lost glove, are you wanting the owner to claim it. I guess they have the blog set up so that owner and glove/shoe find each other.
Great post Dick

Keep it simple and look down. There is always a subject if you keep your eyes open.

You do

The first thing I thought of when I saw the black glove was....O. J. Simpson.

I LOVE IT!
This pic really give sparks to story-telling! It is provocative and yet visually clean in its dirt. It really is a picture that fits me like a hand in a glove!!!!

<3

(I might come back to ask polite if I may use it on my blog! With reference to You, of course)

Nice pic, it seems that this glove has now smelted into the ground.

I could have had a collection of 1000s of single gloves if I had started to pick them up years ago.
The one thing that bugs me are not lost gloves but disgarded umbrellas.. thrown by the roadside, stuck in hedges and wrapped around TV aerials.

great picture...
The softness of the leather and the hardness of the ground go well and make for a good texture shot BTW.. ;o)

Poor old glove, lost in the middle of the sidewalk ... great photo!

Great photo, great title. The glove looks like it's becoming a part of the sidwalk.

Oh yeah. I'm one of the O.J. crowd. That was my immediate thought.

I thought of OJ too. Neat picture! I was here when you first posted but didn't comment for some reason. Sorry about that!

In the Vondelpark in Amsterdam, there is a fence called the "Vindhek" where people can put lost gloves, scarves, etc. Maybe you need one on Texel, but then you wouldn't have such an interesting photo.
