This is beautiful shot, I just got myself a macro lens, and hope I can achieve this kind of results. Which lens did you use to make that shot?

I thought it was a one legged 'Can-Can dancer at first Dick... ;o)

This really is a great shot.. The underside of fungi can get passed by, but the real wonder of them is there as the craking shot shows...

Stunning Shot

Thanks for commenting. I can't figure out the difference between Fungi and Mushroom in English but maybe it's not so important. This Fungi was big sized (25cm height) and it was not that difficult to take the picture, no damage and thats how it should be. I used my compact camera ( Canon 710IS ) in macro mode. The quality of these cameras is amazing. Sometimes I use a macro convertor but not this time, the standard lens is good enough most times.

Terrific detail and composition. Are we looking at the underside of the mushroom? Is that a stem or from the center or does the whole thing hang? I love it.
