"Four Seasons"

WOW, that is a lot of sea shells. Beautiful. Amazing. We went to Creole, Louisiana back in September. The water in the gulf is dirty water from the Mississippi River flowing out into the gulf so the beach is not populated at all. There are a lot of seashells on that beach too. When we go to the beach at Panama City Beach, Florida or Gulf Shores, Alabama there are very few shells because the beaches are so populated. People love to pick up shells. Again this is a beautiful picture and would have made a great Sky Watch Friday picture.

I have never seen so many shells in my life. Are there any alive left int he ocean?

Terrific photos and terrific location. Every beach I've visited in recent years has been shell-less. Great idea to set the camera low to catch the shapes and colors clearly. Especially nice that they all glisten from the last wave.

I liked those shells! Have a look inside some of them, and you will often find the most magnificent colours. I have picture of one I'll post some day (that is , if you don't beat me to it).

Heel mooi gedaan Dick. Ben trots op je. (Je moest wel ver door je stramme knieen, maar het resultaat is er dan ook naar).

Wow! Great shot! I would love to investigate all those shells. Did you have to lay on your stomach or did you hold the camera way down? Who asks the most questions, Dick or Dot? lol
I don't know why any one would paint windows on a barn except maybe to just make it look better. I need to go get another shot and really zoom in.

I like the way you have the writing under the Sky Watch icon and I just noticed Astrid's blog. Is that your wife or daughter? She is cute and has a beautiful smile!

WoW...beautifully captured shot!

Thank you all. I hold my camera low and shoot on good luck. This is the best one. It's on some parts of the beach there are so many shells.

(Happyone) That's a great compliment.

(Aura) Some of them are eatable but most of them not.
