Battle against the sea

The battle against the sea goes on and on, and with the expected sea level rising it will be worse.

Hi Dick,

Ja naast de hogere/verhoogde zeespiegel.....de zee is indrukwekkend sterk!!!!

-de hevige regenval,
-ook de weggeslagen duinen,
-lekkende/zwakke dammen,

Very nice. I like the sort of things you photograph.

Dick, I'm admitting the truth. I got lucky on posting the large photos. I don't know how I did it. I tried doing what you said but I can't even find the s400. I'm giving up.

I know you are getting tired of me but just after I posted the above message I found what you were talking about. Yipee!! The picture I posted today I pulled from my Picasa Web Album. It doesn't enlarge when you click on it but it is not posted thru photobucket. Thanks for your help!!

Although any rise in sea level is a concern for the whole country, it must be particularly worrying for the islands! Do you know why they are dredging so close to shore?

Your history of fighting against the sea has been so long, but still human beings often look so powerless facing the nature, like people on the shore look tiny.
