Roadside flowers

During one of my "Biking to nowhere" trips I saw this flower (Ornithogalum umbellatum) along the roadside. The Dutch name is "Vogelmelk".

Beautiful photograph.
Perfect exposure to maintain detail in the whites.
Ideal focus.
Great detail.
Nicely cropped for interest.

Well done. Thanks for sharing this beautiful flower.

Thanks for the visit,
Troy and Martha

At least you were biking with a purpose - you got this magnificent picture. In Norway it is called fuglestjerne and considered by some to be a weed!

PS The object in SWF was a Radar-dome on top of a small mountain.

Those are really pretty and look like some sort of lily to me. Of course I'm no flower expert but if you need help with your blog just let me know. LOL! In my frustrations of trying to download a new template I almost called on you again but finally got it myself.

Astonishing, so wonderful, I would never have thought to find them as wild flowers.
