I think I know where you took the first farming picture. Nearby a roundabout? Nearby Dirk Roeper? LOL. Great pictures once again of course. You really don't need another camera.
Hi Dick! I’m back to blogosphere after another busy (and annoying) week… ;) Fortunately there is Friesland and the plastic farm animals to make us lol... ;)) This harvest time seems to be tough, even for the photographer... ;)) Meanwhile Blogtrotter is harvesting in the streets of Santiago de Compostela… Enjoy and have a nice weekend! Very nice pictures. Years ago all there was here was the rectangle bails of hay. Then several years people started doing the rolls of hay. I notice they do it with a sheet of something on the ourside but the edges are not covered like yours.
Great photos i love the wrapping of the bales, but have always wondered if they would sweat and the moisture would spoil the hay. I wonder what they are made of.
My goodness, Dick--this is splendid, from the first photo to the last. Did you stay beside the field for hours to get all of these clear, well-framed, informative photographs? That first photo made me fall in love with a tractor, its wagon and the hay inside it, something unheard of for someone with my allergies!
Oh I love your farm pictures, Dick! I can almost smell the fresh-cut hay. Fond memories of blazing hot days in Arkansas (www.heifer.org) walking after the raker, lifting the square bales up onto the trailer or truck, then stacking them in the barn. Heifer Ranch is open to volunteers who want to combat world hunger while living in community and working together.
Hello Dick, Thats why I love Holland and for now this pics from TEXEL, Its so pretty and colourfull, I am impressed by nature always..You catched this in your camera.. Welldone.

Heel mooie foto's! Ik kwam vroeger vaak op Texel, omdat mijn zwager daar predikant was in Oosterend. Ik vind het een prachtig eiland. Wat een voorrecht om er te kunnen wonen! Bedankt voor je bezoek.
Oh wow these are so cool, this reminds my a lot my grandparents farm land, thanks for sharing, it is always nice to go back in time and remember good things. Anna :)

Zonder meer een prachtige oogst reportage. Vooral de bovenste vind ik erg mooi en eigentijds. Supercolors.
Wow! Great colors and composition! The farmers don't wrap their bales around these parts...it looks like a good idea though.
LOL...Looks like Texas!!! Great pictures!!hughugs
Nice shots Dick! The farming equipment over there sure is colorful.
I love your all of pictures but my favorite is the very first one. I love the colors.

Lovely photos. I like the wrapped bales
Fabulous photos and great colours. The wrapped bales do look like large blocks of cheese though. Lol!

Happy weekend from JoAnn
Looks very much like what we've been doing around Connecticut this time of year. Lots of hay baling. Nice series Dick. Thanks for your visit.
You have captured the essence of the agricultural season very well - especially the "tractor-eggs" in the last picture.
PS Re your comment - you were quite right.
I like the colourful vehicles. They look like big toys!
Andrea - The rolls of hay you have mentioned are here too, I think it's better than the closed ones.
Lilli - It's a sort of plastic (yes again, lol)but I didn't have a closer look.
Ted - The tractors and the fields are real.
Willem - you are right, hèhèhè.
Strong colours of the tractor and a lot of work to harvest - as it seems.
It is beautiful picture :)
Thank you for your visit and warm words in my post.
