I love the way the tree branches frame this bucolic scene. Brings me back to when i visited Holland and i enjoyed the sight of sheep, cows and horses on the meadows among the windmills.
I love the mist. It adds an interesting mistery halo to the landscape.
I love how the horses are framed in the tree branches. It looks like a fantasy land. Very Pretty. I am so sorry about the terrible incident in your country. Seems like there are crazy people all over the world.
Hi Dick! Another hectic week and my tour of blogosphere suffers... ;) Wonderful shot!! Sorry to have missed the give away post... With my luck it would have been mine... ;))
Blogtrotter just ended the tour of temples in Old Town Vilnius and waits for you there. Enjoy and have a great weekend!
Wow. What an amazing shot. And you know how they say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"? But this beautiful image with the greyish greens and the thin branches framing the dark spots, looks like your eye! It seems almost as if your eye is reflecting it :)
Oh Drat! Not only did I miss your give away but I missed thyme's too! Beautiful picture! This reminds me of the wild horses on Georgia's Cumberland Island.
It was rather interesting for me to read the post. Thanks the author for it. I like such topics and anything that is connected to this matter. BTW, try to add some photos :).

Hi Dick,
Very nice impression of changing temperatures in Netherlands, Is the weather in Texel this foggy?

(I show more from festival in Naarden on my blog come and see)
Horses--even better than gorillas.
The grass looks tasty.
I am so sorry about the tragic incident your country had. May it be the last one.
What a gorgeous interplay of light and mist, Dick. Would be such a lovely theme for my paintings. Yes I feel I'm inspired right now:)
Have a very nice Sunday, blessings~
That is a beautiful lush green - rather like in N.Z. I love misty mornings.

Heel mooi Dick. Zijn ondertussen de knoppen aan de boom al open gebarsten? Gr. Judith
Joann - It was foggy this time and not very early in the morning.
Dina - I like the gorillas in the mist too but not that close. lol.
Nihal - You have my permission to use the picture as an example for your painting!!!!!!!!!!
What a terrible attack on the wedding party in DIYARBAKIR.
Aggie - I saw pictures from N.Z. and it looks like this but N.Z. is much more beautiful.
Judith - Nou het gaat nog niet echt snel met die knoppen maar het ziet er al niet meer zo kaal uit.
Thank you all for your nice comments.
