Goodbye Winter

Spring has arrived, a good time to say goodbye to Winter. This is the same place as in one of my previous posts "Lifeless trees". In the 2nd image you see my daughter taking pictures. And yes Happyone, she does have a blog, you are right this time. lol

Nice contrast. Happy spring for you all. Our season is changing here as well ... but not too cold yet.

Thank goodness winter is over!
That answers my question, I was just about to ask that! :-)

Nice to see the trees in spring too - and with a proper blue sky.

It's nice to see how nature comes back bright and colourful every spring. We're warming up here now -15ºC- and it feels so good.

PS.- I visited your daughter's blog. Very nice pictures. I presume she had the best teacher at home. ;))

Still looks very cold to me!(now being used to 60-70 degrees weather in California)

Don't be offended but those are the most depressing trees I've ever seen. Will they get leaves on them? If so I'd like to see.

Good to hear that and see it in the photos

hello Dick,
The light through the trees is so gorgeous in the photo of March 16. Please, would you give me permission to paint it, or paint part of it? You may not recognize it when I'm done, LOL, because I always change things, but I would feel better about it having permission.
Please write me about this, thanks!
So, you got your daughter taking pics too now, huh? Zo vader, zo dochter:)

Of course I go back there in the Summer to see how the trees are then. These pictures were taken somewhere around the shortest day.
Yes Dot it looks depressing but it has it's own beauty.
Jeannette, you have my permission, I'm looking forward to the result.

My oh my, professionally captured photos, Dick. The universe is pretty big space, and there is light in everywhere. May Spring wishes for love, joy and happiness find eachone of us wher ever we see the light.
Time to visit your daughter's blog and very curious about hers, lets face it:)

Have a blessed weekend~

Wonderful nature on the island. The first one is almost b/w.

Clearly I'l overdue for a visit. These recent photos are wonderful. The "Goodbye Winter" posts suggest that there's still a bit of winter lingering, but the sharp crocus photo and the forest ferns assure me you are not only on track to spring, but well ahead of us. Finally, I'm dazzled by the wonderful images on your daughter's site. She has considerable talent.
