Fly to your meal

Imagine you have the size of an insect and a nice pair of wings, flying to your meal this might be what you see. I do not know the name of this flower, maybe you do?
Visit " Todays Flowers" for more great photos.

Dick, that 's a beautiful flower but I'm glad I'm not an insect. I'm sure someone would swat me and kill me right away. I've seen that flower before but I'm not sure what it's called.

Lovely shot. I love the contrast in focus. Do you know what your exposure settings were?

Hi Dick!

I found you jumping from blog to blog and comment to comment.

When I've read the word 'Texel', my heart skipped a beat: a very special person has e-mailed me flowers, storms, ducks and dunes from Texel this summer. And Texel was no longer just a dot in the map.

This flower is bringing back to me the sweetest memories.

Thanks a lot for sharing.

No entry for me this time in the flower meme, but I couldn't have told you anyway. All I know after seeing this is that I have got to by a macro-lens!!

Hi Dick! Great shot! Pink!
Now, Blogtrotter is departing Armenia. It leaves you however with a view that Tsar Nicholas didn’t see… ;))
Have a great week!

As long as there's a cozy restaurant (meal) and a nicely dressed man (insect), then I would not mind where to name dinnering (the flower:)
Maybe Ams'dam, the Lady Eiffel or better Istanbul, as near to my home:)

PS I imagined a man as above thinking of me, lol:)

Very nice close-up shot! I could not resist dreaming, you see;)

Ted - I used a close-up converter, I don't know the settings anymore.
