That is a good shot. I want to get one of them in their V formation but I never have my camera on me when I see that.

Mooie foto Dick.
Zag ze vandaag ook in een fantastische V-formatie, maar helaas geen camera bij me.

Hey...great shot!
You have to have the camera near by, to get one of those photos.
Very nice!
Well done:)
Have a nice weekend!

Wow. Nice shot. Someone mentioned the "V formation" and I should like to say that we have so many geese here that they fly right over our heads and are almost always in that typical V formation. Even when one side of it may only have one or two birds and the other side will have 10 or more. The problem here is to be able to catch them from the side like you did. We can never get them that way.

I really like your shot. And wonder what kind of geese these are?

Unexampled!

wow! How perfect this is. The sun highlights different birds differently. It's fascinating.

Perfect.
We have the migrating Russian geese come in our vicinity and in the old days (now of course they are protected and shooting is banned) my Dad brought some geese home for dinner.

The picture game was really good.

I like to see those big heavy birds fly. In autumn and spring I sometimes hear them (geese?) and then see them on their way to and from the South.

Hello,
That is absolutely wonderful. We get a lot of Canada Geese flying over us on their way to the marshes but I've never had my camera ready.I love hearing them, I think it's such a haunting sound. I'm not sure whether the local farmers are so pleased to see them though, lol. Thanks by the way for your comment on my Skywatch photo.

I'm not sure what kind of Geese they are, maybe Canada Geese or the Gray Geese. Probably they came from North Scandinavia and North Russia to stay here for the winter. Angie said so too, the farmers are not happy with them.
When I took this photo there was nobody around, didn't see Kerri, lol.

How neat! Your shot is SOOOO much better than the one I got... but I see that we were like minded!
Wonderful Shot!

Could this be the same geese that flew by me, barking their heads off yesterday? Do they speak the same language? Nice shot!

A sign of fall for sure! Cool capture. I love to see flying geese, a melancholy sight in the fall and one of joy in the spring.

Dick, I saw 3 different gaggles today while I was walking. Didn't have the camera with me. They never fly over when I have the camera.
