Roodborstje

Terwijl ik half hangend op mijn fiets een foto stond te maken kwam dit vogeltje nieuwsgierig kijken wat ik aan het doen was, en wat dat was zie je in de volgende post.

Ahh!! Hahaha little finch! They're the cutest birds :) You either have really good zoom on your camera or you keep these in a cage to get this close to them :) Good shot!

This bird is so cute. A bit curious and also gallant.

Nice photograph. Plenty of detail in this one.

It reminds me of a European Robin. Is that what it is?

If you have not seen a tomato horn worm lately, complete with cocoons of predator wasps aboard, then take a look if you have time.

(Brian) Dit was in het bos daar zitten er wel en heel soms komt er wel eens een in onze tuin.
(Abe) Yes that's what it is.

Hi Dick! You asked why I don't make my pictures bigger. I measured on my screen with a ruler and my photo today is 7 1/2 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches long. I measured yours and it's 7 1/2 by too large to measure on length. I'm not sure I know how to make them bigger. Why do I need them bigger? When I trim them on Picasa they don't show up as big and that's why all my photos are a different size. I hope that makes sense.

Lovely shot! Great shadow and, like all of your closeup shots, very crisp and sharp. What kind of bird? When visiting Prague three years ago I discovered that the Czech mourning doves sing a different song than the U.S. mourning doves even though the birds look identical. Well naturally! In Prague the doves speak Czech.
